I'm a writer and a photographer, so naturally I love to tell stories with my pictures--the story of a high school graduate discovering his passion for music, the story of a groom waiting anxiously for his bride to appear at the head of the aisle, the story of a band striving in the midst of spotlights and amps to be real, the story of a shy bride burying her face in the comfort of her fiance's shoulder during their first dance, the story of a couple's gelato shop engagement. Everyone has a unique story and that's what makes this so fun!

I'm finishing up my BA in Communication at Anderson University, so I'm a full-time student and part-time photographer. School is my work and photography is my play time (but I take this play time seriously). I'm based out of Anderson, travel frequently to Charleston, and am available for pretty much anywhere in SC. For that matter, I'm open to traveling anywhere!

More about me:

  • The smell of coffee makes me happy, but I rarely drink it.
  • Dancing is my favorite.
  • I use white Christmas lights when I'm writing.
  • Flannery O'Conner is a genius.
  • There is no such thing as too much damask.
  • I think teal is my favorite color, but I like a rainbow of bright.
  • I love the quaintness of wood burning stoves.
  • But nothing beats a real fireplace where you can roast marshmallows.
  • Travel awaits me. Not sure when or where, but I hope it's soon.
  • Target and Ikea are really big playgrounds.
  • I hate Charleston's humidity, but it will always be home.
  • As a kid, I watched Mary Poppins everyday.
  • If I still did that now, I'd replace it with Phantom of the Opera or Fiddler On the Roof.
  • Bubbles are floating bursts of joy that make me smile.
  • I like to play dress up with a good cocktail dress or ballgown.
  • 22 sounds and feels too old.
  • I'm obsessed with granola.
  • I heart all things sparkly.
  • Mountains in autumn are invigorating.
  • I've only been white water rafting once and I fell out. Most fun ever.
  • Peacock feathers are my favorite accessories.
